DEF - Diesel Exhaust Fluid is a mixture of high purity synthetic automotive grade urrea & de-ionised water. It is used in SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) systems on diesel engines to reduce emissions
Quality of DEF is critical to vehicle performance, thus it is important to use dedicated equipment to transfer DEF
Groz offers safe, clean & efficient systems to transfer DEF from large Drums & Totes to smaller container/ engines etc.

THE GROZ DEF TRANSFER SYSTEM CONSISTS OF:

DEF Transfer Pump: 115V AC Diaphragm pump with lightweight non- corroding polypropylene body. Self priming design with built-in protection against thermal overload
DEF - Digital Turbine Meter: Battery operated digital meter for use with DEF & water based media. Polyamide body & sealed electronic card makes it suitable for use in all sorts of weather conditions. Measures in Litres, Quarts, Pints & Gallons
Inlet Hose:Special 4'/6' long EPDM inle hose connecting the Drum/ Tote opening to the pump inlet respectively
Suction Hose: Special EPDM suction hose
Discharge Hose: 20' special EPDM hose connecting the pump meter outlet to the dispensing nozzle
Micromatic RSV: Micromatic Reusable Stainless steel valve provide a closed system preventing contamination. 3/4" BSPP threads the valve connects the pump to the Drum/Tote via inlet hose
Manual DEF Nozzle: Nylon construction with SS hardware & Viton seals, Manual control, but also includes a continuous flow switch for unattended dispensing
